Following the arrival of your little bundle of joy you may notice some drastic changes in your body. For starters, you may notice that your hands and feet swell. Rest assure though that this will fade with time. You also may notice that your skin becomes dry. This is fixed simply by using a good moisturizer. Your hair and nails may not grow as fast, they may return to normal per-pregnancy growth. This is due to the pre-natal vitamins that you took during pregnancy. Many women who breast feed continue to take these vitamins. You can talk to your plastic surgeon about your options. You may also notice that you have stretch marks. There really is nothing you can do about this. There are creams and lotions out there to try to fade them into your skin, this is your best bet. One of the top things that women complain about are their breasts after pregnancy.
This is a problem that most all women have after giving birth. They get use to having the full, firm breasts that were due to their body preparing to support the baby with milk. After having the baby those who breast feed may not notice the change as much as those who don’t. However they will notice the change after they quit breastfeeding. Once the milk is no longer being produced in the breast, the size will go down. Due to this size change, many women complain of sagging skin, stretch marks from gaining the sizes in the first place, and all over dissatisfaction with how the breasts hang. They no longer have youthful breasts and it is this that upsets women the most. There are numerous ways in which to fix this problem. Breast augmentation or implants are the way most women go. These range in size and price, so if this is something of interest, have a consultation and discuss your options.
